All great coaches create safe spaces for the coaching (or mentoring) to take place and this comes down to skilful contracting and adhering to a code of ethics. 

In this lesson you'll learn why contracting is important, what it is and how to do it well. We'll also help you to understand how to remain ethical and non judgemental throughout your coaching and mentoring as well as understanding how to structure a coaching or mentoring relationship and how to plan your sessions.

In this lesson we share with you how to set your coaching or mentoring relationships up for success using the pre-coaching questionnaire - a critical part of the coaching or mentoring as it orientates you and the coachee to the work you are about to engage in together.

In this lesson we take a deep dive on some of the core skills of coaching. We look in detail at listening, observation and questioning and spend time refining these skills. 

We share with you what's different about the listening and questioning you do in coaching as oppose to other forms of conversations and you start to build your question bank to use in your coaching conversations. 

You also have a live walk through of 'content free questions', a useful questioning technique to use in coaching.

In this lesson we introduce you to the GROW model, which is a framework for holding conversations with coachees and mentees.

We share with you why GROW is important, what is is and how it works. You also have live demonstrations of coaching to watch so you can see it in action and a question bank to use with your coachees.

In this lesson we show you how to facilitate client progress and ensure your coachees can connect to the progress they are making - sometimes coachees may struggle to see this so this is an essential part of your role. 

You will also be introduced to the Comfort Zone Model as a tool for helping your coachees to progress with their goals. 

You'll have coaching demonstrations of both of these approaches so you'll know how to facilitate these with your clients.

One of the roles of the coach is to provide your clients with feedback. 

Giving and receiving feedback is also a topic that many people want coaching support with. 

In this lesson we introduce you to the reflective practice and the role of feedback in learning and growing. 

Reflective practice is a core part of growing and developing as a coach, it's also a concept you will be helping all of your coachees to develop in their experience of coaching with you. 

In this penultimate lesson we introduce you to the role of supervision and record keeping. 

Supervision is an important part of your ongoing practice as a coach. If you plan to build coaching into your role or do more of it beyond work, knowing how you can access supervision for support and continued development is important.

In this lesson we also talk about record keeping, and some of the practicalities of coaching.
