Great Neurodivergent Coaches Need More Than an Understanding of Neurodiversity
Becoming an effective ADHD, autism or neurodivergent inclusive coach isn't just about understanding neurodivergence. It's about knowing how to coach.
It's about learning how to listen deeply, ask powerful questions, build trust, navigate complexity and support people to make meaningful changes in their lives.
And it's about understanding how neurodivergence can shape someone's experience of the world, so you can adapt your coaching to meet their individual needs.
Traditional ADHD Coaching programmes teach you how to coach the symptoms of a condition but neurodivergent people are more than their condition.
Neurodivergent people are people first, with goals, aspirations, relationships, professions, values, beliefs, identities, emotions.
World class neurodivergent inclusive coaching is about coaching the person first. You are not just coaching a condition.
And that is the fundamental reason why our training pathway brings together two essential areas of learning
Professional Coaching Skills where you develop the core competencies, practical skills and ethical foundations to coach professionally, confidently and effectively
Neurodivergent Inclusive Coaching where you develop specialist knowledge and learn how to adapt your coaching approach to support people with ADHD, autism and other forms of neurodivergence
Together, these give you the foundations to build a coaching practice that is professional, ethical, inclusive and responsive to the people you want to support.
